The purpose of ADVENTURES IN HEALTH CARE is to provide exposure for Adventurers (Grade 10/11 students) with a vetted interest in the health science sector through participation in a program that will introduce Adventurers to postsecondary education, applied training and career opportunities in the health sciences in rural British Columbia.
The program will also introduce Adventurers to related, diverse and real roles that provide service to patients and their families, and career opportunities for qualified individuals to engage in the health science sector.

This 5-day event was intended to help give students an introduction to various topics in mathematics, physics, and computer science and culminated in a group project.
Learned various programming languages over several projects. The “larger” projects can be found at the following links:
Partook in a program designed to teach children the art of metal math.
Attended a visual arts course spanning several months covering topics such as sketching, shading, pastels, etc.
Attended lessons covering the basics of tennis. The program culminated in a tournament consisting of the participants.
